| FRANCO'S-SUSSEX BEACH-SIERRA-LEONE |
my birthday was fairly quiet just the way the less extroverted part of me would like. quiet, small and in some ways, lovely. the weekend was spent walking on sand, inhaling fresh air and exhaling nostalgia, it indeed had been a year since i arrived on the shores of freetown. Great, and despite and because of it all (figure out what that may mean), choosing to stay here, backed by solid reasoning, is even more of a reality. With that in mind, i spent sunday at Franco's Restaurant on Sussex Beach. The food to be quite honest is rubbish and the customer service, well, lets just leave at "not good". The surroundings are tranquil, natural, welcoming. I enjoyed myself.
For those of you who are starting to enjoy my photographs of Sierra-Leone, i hope you enjoy these and are enticed because of it and despite it all..
fambul dem, this is how we do.
