Na-Li is the newest spa to open in the ever so evolving and hip Wilkinson Road in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Lets liken it to the 5th avenue of New York in our Sierra Leonean context of course.
I was invited by one of the co-owners for a free massage experience it was lush & divine. The massage was well done by a Filipino Meuse's (a. i love the phillippines b. i have too many fond memories of fantastic spa dates with my mom or sisters while living in Manila) who possessed proper spa etiquette (its rare here, promise). She was polite, quiet and she understood my body.
Beyond this being a sales pitch to some degree, i sincerely have to say, i am quite impressed with the quality of the spa. These female business women( Nada & Lisa) paid attention to detail. You can tell that thought, care and love went into creating this Spa, for that i must commend the finished product. And you know i believe God lives in the detail.
The rooms are stunning, lush, peaceful with a range of essential oils at the client's choosing. Each room has its own private bathroom complete with disposable under garments, clean towels and high quality products. To complete the massage experience, there is the herbal tea that calms.
You can also get your nails and hair done at Na-Li - they cater to the gents too.
In the two years since being back home , with the Chinese Spa (which is also now newly upgraded), as my only choice to a spa experience, Na-Li Spa has being received by me with open arms. It is just not because its another spa to choose from, but it is a Spa that truly encapsulates the experience of relaxation, care and peace.
For those of you coming into town, it is a must do. For those of us that live in town, its a thumbs UP !
