the day we visited the Mercy Ships, Freetown, Sierra-Leone

My cousin of Madame Wokie, who also works at the ministry of health kindly invited me to join her when she got the opportunity to visit the Mercy Ships in Freetown. All i knew going in was it was a huge ship that offered free medical care (mostly intensive surgery) to Sierra-Leoneans who otherwise could not afford it. How huge and yet so compact and all encompassing it was, i did not know until we actually took the tour. Yes, i am a Mercy Ship groupie, the amazing work aside, they also had Starbucks on deck, which i greatly missed. All superficiality aside, it was a wonderful afternoon and i remained impressed by the level of professionalism and high technology available on board.

fambul dem this is how we do....
