If you have the luxury to get your nails done at least once a month, when you do get them done you want them done perfectly. Naasu Fofanah is a feisty woman who is not only passionate about women's issues and exploring systems of power and oppression, she also owns a relaxing, high quality salon in Hill Station, Freetown Sierra-Leone. I enjoy going to her salon when i need to escape for a couple of hours. I know that my nails will be cleaned well, nail polish of quality used and of course their is always a bottle of wine and sometimes if you are lucky when Nassu is at the salon, champagne--its a woman's pampering beauty spot and yesterday i indulged. I do not for a second doubt the blessings provided to me, the leisure to spend an afternoon relaxing at the salon.
